It's almost like the Canucks let Nino Niederreiter have his second of the game, just so they could ensure that Biega's goal was the game-winner—though it wouldn't have been so bad if Bo Horvat had been the hero, either.

Carol, I think you have been reading the wrong book. This statement screams "50 Shades of Esplen"

nick kypreos is claiming Miller is pissed about not playing last night....... Kypreos is full of poop but its a pretty bold statement to make on TV.
- belcherbd

Miller - .913 2.46

Lack - .914 2.53

Why would he be pissed? Miller's playing like a backup.

haha the package returns!

get them to throw in Giroux, simmonds, and vorachek and we've got a deal!

TUESDAY

Don't be ridicules. That trade would never happen. Philly would need to add a First and the required for every trade 3rd.

His 50th shade was where he would throw himself under a bus truckin at 100km/h down the HOV lane.

I get that WD doesn't want to mess with the chemistry that the bottom 6 has going right now but, especially with Bonino out, i think its becoming exceedingly clear that Bo deserves a shot at 2C

The more I think about it, the more it seems that a package of Matthias and Kassian would make the most sense. Matthias has been hot lately and is a pending UFA and we've all talked ad nauseam about Kassian. If there is a deal out there for a top 6 (or younger guy with top 6 potential) LW that would obviously be ideal. A guy like Niederrieter (sp?). Understandably those guys don't grow on trees.....

but if that type of situation were to arise and kass and matthias were dealt for a even an excellent prospect or draft picks and bonino and richardson come back, the lineup would look good enough moving forward...

Maybe we can pull a Lombardi for the impending cup run here and steal Marleau and Thornton out of SJ for Miller and Kass...they could be our Carter/Richards!!

SCF here we come ...

Milller's either great or bad, Lack is usually just solid. Makes sense that they have similar numbers but eventually Markstrom needs a chance to see if he's the real deal.

I wish we hadn't signed miller and went full rebuild. The only possible downside to that for me would be if doing so would have been at the cost of markstrom's development.

This team had a gaolie like that and they got rid of him.

I don't want another one of those.

Bo basically was the #2C last night And he's replaced Dorsett on the 2nd PP unit finally. WD's finally starting to trust him more and it's paying off. That being said Bo's gonna have to start shooting more since his ridiculous shooting percentage is due to regress.

If Bonino and Richardson have higher trade value we could dump them instead. Or trade Kass/Richardson. I would rather try and keep Matthias and resign him(pref before off season) as he is young and if he keeps at it can have a great career here.

I heard that the players we wanting a proven #1 goalie, and we got Miller as a result.

Even more telling IMO is that Lacks competition has a .625 win record. Lack has the best chance currently being the goalie of the future and the Nucks need to embrace this regardless of Miller's feelings or contract.

I agree it would be nice to see if Markstrom can prove to be an NHL goalie, but I have my doubts. This isn't the first time he has killed it in the AHL and while his play this year has been encouraging I would bet on Lack having the better career.

They both seem to let in that one bad goal every now and then. Both are solid goalies. We should be pretty happy with our goaltending situation right meow. Lack or Miller will have to get hurt or traded before that happens.

would Philly entertain Bonino and Kassian for B. Schenn and a 2nd/3rd round pick?

*edit* if the trade was offered on a Tuesday of course....

If Miller is pissed then he needs to either give the team a better chance to win on a consistent basis or run along.
