I'm far too invested in it to give up, but if you didnt like season 1 then don't expect it to get any better

It gets better, but it better pick up the pace for this season or it won't last much longer.

I agree. But I wouldnt exactly say breaking bad had a booming first episodes.

They were good, but in hindsight you cant compare BCS to it because of our bias towards how brilliant BB actually turned out to be.

Small sample size thus far. But I expect Emmy's.

Not a Chance in hell it will ever be as successful as BB but should be a damn good show.

Honestly, I think that they want you to compare it to Breaking Bad, otherwise why have the same setting and recurring characters and visual style. It's not a perfect comparison, but when they did the Frasier spinoff from Cheers they changed the setting, style of the show and cast.

That's the genius of it, I think. Gilligan has the balls to say, yeah, I made this great show, one of the best ever, now watch me do it again.

Breaking Bad had some funny moments, but it was mostly unrelentingly intense. BCS seems to have switched that around: it has it's intense moments, but it's mostly pretty funny. Plus brilliant writers. It's still early, but I think that when it's done it will be able to stand side by side with BB.

My wife and I watch it. It's okay. The ratings are good though, so I don't see it going anywhere.

I feel like they are trying to bring a new bad guy every season it's getting kind of repetitive ( I know they are going by the comics, but still)

Were only a few episodes deep. I suspect it will eventually get alot darker.

But Walt was based on being a dramatic, Dark character. Saul is the polar opposite. I hope they can find a way to make it funny, But still somewhat dark regardless of the main character.

It also helps that the actor who plays Saul was a writer on SNL when he was first breaking into show business. Helps bring a bit of a comedic element ( ) to it.

When he starts seeing ice time in the last 10 minutes of a game I will start loving him again.

I've never seen this team in 25 years get so much from every addition in a season top to bottom like this. Every new face gets goals sooner than later and looks to be challenging for a spot.

Jensen seems to be the only call up to really not open eyes this season.

I have to say, WD is doing really well for a rookie coach. A gm who supplies him with worthy depth and has an eye for opportunity definitely helps.

Penguin fans

All the whining they do about things done to their players. A few don't even think Kulikov should have had a penalty

I have honestly stopped trying to guess which games they will win or lose. There seems to be no rhyme or reason .

When I see both Sedins battling and first into the scrums , shooting , and leading like this , all bets are off. This is my idea of how leadership should lead.I know for years they have made pretty plays , but we were getting our asses kicked ,because we had no grit.

These last couple of weeks we have beaten some of the best

Daniel hit someone, did you hear that - he hit someone, in the corner and then sat on him and gave him a few shots…I think it was Nino.

WTF is going on??

Varlamov had FOUR saves (5 shots) thru two periods last night against the Coyotes so Roy pulled him and put Berra in for the 3rd. At one point he went 22 minutes without a shot against LOL...

Was it not Henrick that blocked the final shot of the game? The Minny player blasted it as well.

I think this is what Torts wanted to see out of the twins.
