JS with the assist. See this is why Buffalo scratched coho when they played Van. - manvanfan

No offense to Wild fans, but they aren't very fun to watch. It's been like this for quite some time and I never look forward to Wild games (or Phoenix, for that matter). And this goes way back to the Gaborik days (at least he was exciting, though). Moreover, it's not like they don't have the talent to play a more uptempo game (Coyle, Pomminvile, Parise (where the hell has he been?), Nino, Koivu, Suter, Vanek

Kassian has Oiler-itis. Good offensive player, but he's turnover prone and still not smart defensively. |

Canucks look good. Great period. Burrows and Kenins were outstanding.
Kassian two bad turnovers... He's back. Should have traded him when his value was up. |

God do I feel bad for Prosser. Took 3 huuuuge hits that period. - deslni01
Not his fault, he saw the Canucks on the schedule and assumed it would be the usual easy ride for the Minny d-men without any worry of a furious/energetic forecheck.
Kennins is a hero here right now after that period. We're not used to seeing that
Meanwhile Schroeder is a Canuck killer now. |

Not quite sure how he could manage to not be worried about being hit, what with us losing Zucker and Carter to you guys a week ago. Then again, there's a reason he's a borderline bottom-pairing d-man. |

Canucks are usual soft as butter on the forecheck outside of the random player over the years(Torres/Dorsett/Kennins) compared to most teams. |

lol excellent use of capitals
Honestly, though, why aren't guys like Vanek, Pomminvile, Coyle, Suter, Nino, Koivu, Parise, Granlund etc, given a bit more free reign to be creative? |

Kenins has 3 hits already and two of them against Prosser...
Dorsett has 2 against Prosser as well...
Higgins has 1 against Prosser....
almost 50% of our hits that period were against 1 guy. 5/12. |
