Same was said for garrison - Bieksa#3
But he nixed the deal to STL for Berglund and basically went back to his "2nd home". I don't think Nashville can afford Hamhuis after their recent trade. |

Neither am I. I suspect the canucks will pay him and I will be happy about it - Bieksa#3
Long-term he's gonna ask for 4M+. Agents especially always try to make up for lost money when a player severely outperforms his previous contract(s). Similar to Burrows. |

Pittsburgh is appealing. Its not like he has a long term contract. 11/4 yrs for 2 shots at the cup |

Very different in that Garrison is single, Hammer's life outside of hockey with wife, three kids and church dictate he won't be traded…ever. |

Until the guy starts bulging the twine more often. 4 mill is generous. I'd be more around 3.35-3.5. |

This next little while with Edler out will really show what Tanev means to the defence and if he is able to push his offensive game a little more. The team really needs the defence to shoot from the point, it was painful to watch at times Saturday night.

Try this on for size: Hamhuis-Tanev, Sbisa-Weber, Stanton-Clendening. Assumes Tanev good to go MON.

A team record 21 goals this season for Belleville Bulls defenceman Jordan Subban. Still not signed by the #Canucks. |

I'd have no problem with 4-5 million for Tanev and he can keep preventing the other team from bulging our twine. The guy has passed all of out D on the depth chart and is young enough that he can still improve. |

True, but I think he'd be more willing to go as a rental for a few months during his last year because of what Lefty said(family here with kids). |

He's a shutdown d-man who can make a good first pass, I don't think he's suddenly going to start putting up the points. |

Cassels gets another suspension this year, this guy definitely isn't afraid to mix it up. Hopefully he can produce in the AHL next year and eventually make the NHL. |

Surprising that #canucks recall @ABiega4 over @Sangs2224 Both right handed shots but @Sangs2224 having a stellar year with @UticaComets
Things could get interesting, I hope some of these guys look okay with their opportunities. Want to see a couple of d get traded if we can get everyone healthy. |

I say play him a game or two, see what you have since we all know what Weber/Stanton/Sbisa bring. Still want to see Saguinetti get a few games but it's starting to look like he was purely an AHL signing. |

With these injuries piling up, he may yet get his chance..
They know what they have in Weber and Stanton so I have nothing against having a look at these guys too. They should have taken that look earlier in the season when they were called up before. |

We can't keep all 3 of those forwards. I'd say 1 maybe 2 depending on who else is moved. There has 2 be room for the kids - Bieksa#3
In my perfect world Higgins will be gone leaving prospects to fight to the death for that position. |
