So a potential #1 goalie + a potential top 6 forward + a 1st for a 1st overall pick that reunites with a equally superstar potential - who happens to be his friend

Guarantee you the Habs don't regret this deal; adding Petry a right hand shot that can fit in the top four if resigned makes the deal fair IMO

I'm onboard with your view of Yakupov with the Habs. Personally he's one of the only pieces I'd be interested in adding, as I think he could really turn it around with Galchenyuk and the Habs system.

That said I wouldn't be willing to give up what you proposed, or what Edmonton would likely want as a return, so I as much as I'd like him as a trade target, I wouldn't like it if it happened
