I think that JJ would prefer to blog for a bad team, he seems to enjoy ripping into them. Some of his blogs, where he takes issue with something the Blackhawks have done, or should have done, or should have done differently, I just shake my head and think, "really man? Really? I wish we had the Blackhawks problems. He's worried about their seventh defenceman, while we just had a coach who had a (frank)ing bed installed in his (frank)ing office so that he would go to morning skates, and he still didn't go!"
He's got to write about something I guess. - CubanBuffet

So true.
I think he's a good hockey writer though and the Hawks definitely have more issues this year than in the past. They could use some more size/grit that can fit into their system. I can see why there were Kassian rumors out there once the Clendening/Forsling swap was made. |

Sure, one game.....hes likely a bit better than Kenins.... - chompsey
Kenins numbers aren't bad... Mcmillans are awful as far as offense. Sounds like Weise with worse offensive skills if that is possible

Exactly. Those guys are talking about building a legitimate cup contender and we are talking about our team 3-5 years from now. Frustrating.
If JJ came out and said everything's awesome every time he would lose his readers. I think writing about a near perfect team would be difficult.
Who was our writer during the good times? Esplen? |

Better defensively than Weise, and the scary part is he's worse offensively than Weise. Plays with more consistent energy though. |

We had our shot though, 2011 the Canucks were the best team in hockey, they just couldn't win the Cup for various reasons.
It goes in cycles, they'll have their turn at the bottom again in five years or so. We'll get our turn at a Cup again too...some day?? |

I sure hope the ticket prices follow...face value for the cheap seats back when the Nucks finished second last in 1998 was $39 |

He is good and he seems to genuinely know people in the Blackhawks organization. He also chats a bit in the threads. I would like to see him and Tanner switch teams for a couple if weeks. It would be... interesting. |

Agreed 100%
Baseball isn't really even considered a sport - it's a 'pasttime'
Pasttime - something that amuses and serves to make time pass agreeably : diversion. Sounds about right - Zogg
People who say that are the ones who don't play or have never played.. It's exactly the same as golf.. Not all sports are great for TV for all but to say baseball isn't a sport is just ridiculous |

Plus it's the Score - A_SteamingLombardi
The Score is a publicly traded company (SCR.V) that just got listed us a top 50 company listed on the TSX Venture. Share has gone from 33 cents to .73 in the last 2 months. I made great $ off of it and it's going to keep going up.
Just my stock tip of the day...it's my go to sports app as well |

I played, don't watch. Unless it's playoffs. Playoff baseball is pretty awesome. |

Watching all the time definitely isn't for everybody but I love the game... Not like I watch every game either... But ya you're definitely right baseball playoffs are amazing.. Always so many different stories to it and the games are always so close.. Love it |

It's hard not to be drawn in when every pitch matters. But the two million regular season games that each team plays is ridiculous.
For me, basketball is the sport that I just can't get in to, or any kind of car racing. |

2-0 isles over leafs in just the first 4min of the game.
life is good - Mungo
I know everyone wants the Leafs to fail but I'm cheering for them to win at this stage. At their current rate they have a serious chance at Mcdavid. That would be pretty upsetting if they ruined his career |
