I don't think Toronto cares about the cap and if they're close to it or not.... they know they won't be competing regardless of their cap total.

i don't know if he is or not, but Kenins small sample size is just that.....McMillan has much more experience.

I mean, if McMillan doesn't pan out, no harm.......but he's there to play a role and potentially upgrade the bottom 6....

They are moving guys like Mathias and Vey to center because of injuries. That leaves gaps on the wing. A low level acquisition for a fresh 4rth liner who plays that role makes sense right now. Gaunce might have been a decent call up but JB thinks he's adding NHL depth to the club. It doesnt have to mean trade.

Probably means both are due to cool off a bit, but the Canucks have lacked forwards with 10% shooting percentages in recent years, it's one of the reasons why they've become less entertaining to watch so it's nice to see a couple of the young guys up there.

All I know is that McMillian brings next to nothing offensively, which sucks for a team that likes to roll 4 lines. He seems like the typical 13th forward, can play center/wing and even played some defense in the past. Good attitude, works his ass off every shift and defenisively responsible so he won't do anything stupid to drive the coach cray cray.
