I don't see anyone else that isn't overpriced for a good #2 center. As much as I like Bonino I think he would be better as a #3 depth center or a winger to replace Higgins on 2nd line.

Bozak is a glorified 3rd line center making 4.2 million, he's got NINE even strength points this year...he can (frank) off.

But, I really hope Benning keeps all of his first round picks, and Bo/JV/McCann. Gaunce really seem to be driving posession on every line he's been placed on in the AHL as well so I'm starting to feel better about him and his potential as a future 3LC.

I don't watch much leaf stuff but if Bozak is a 1line center then he would have to play against the other team's top D...in Van he wouldn't be so I bet his production would go up. Also not sure if he is a BC boy but he did play jr A here in Victoria so i'm thinking it wouldn't be a super bad option to have him, just depends what we'd have to give up.

If they are getting rid of their biggest contracts for a rebuild, probably would to maintain cap floor on 3 or less year contracts.

EDIT: It did say they could want to remain bottom feeders for a couple years.
