Good grief, come on, Vantel, everytime the Sedins do well it's either because they are playing a back to back with another team, or playing against a lower team in the standings, or getting lucky, or getting the bounces, or whatever the case may be. I respect your opinion, but let's face it, looking at things objectively, you simply do not like the Sedins - at least on the hockey level (I believe you even mentioned that at some point), no matter what your other comments might suggest. And that's fine by me, but just don't get ticked off when you are called out on it.

P.S. just so you know, I have similar perspectives with respect to other players in the league which are either underachieving or simply not deserving of ice-time so I can relate

So the majority of us feel like even if Van makes the playoffs, they will get bounced in the first round. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. Watching tonight's game and the game vs pit and the game vs the wild. I think as fans we are viewing our team from the wrong prospective. We were accustomed to winning and winning often and that's how we got to the finals. We don't need to be the best, we just need to beat the best when it counts. LA has never been the best but they come to play when it matter. This canucks team seems to do so also.

This teams core is old , I try to be critical of all of them.

Daniel had a good game. He went to the net and shot the puck . He has not been doing that all year. Last game he rushed into a scrum to protect a teammate. That is what I expect out of all Canucks that are not wearing goalie pads.

I think we could do okay against any non-California team. Not saying we'd win but I don't think it'd be a bloodbath

I believe that separating Vrbata from the Sedins forces Daniel to become the sniper that he should be. Vrbata is doing well on his own. Higgins has 6 points in the last 9 games... Hard to scratch him right now.

Just a few games ago, Team 1040 (TSN 1040? -- who cares) was reporting the Canucks had the same number of points at this point last season.... yet tonight they got their 30th win, 15 games faster than they did last year.

That's a real mind bender if that's true.
