Seems like Buffalo dumped a whole bunch of stuff they didn't really want anyways for a guy in Kane who could be the next (to a lesser extent) Seguin as far as being a great top 6 player after leaving a situation where he was over scrutinized. Good trade for Buffalo.

Another leaf fan trade, they are getting more laughable by the day. Tampa is in first and they are going to trade their best defenceman and a future 40 goal scorer and take garbage clarksons contract all just for morgan reily who is slightly better than average? Yeah yzerman was just tricking everyone making good move after good move only to pull this bone header off.

Maybe Buffalo is just trying to leverage the Kane part of the deal and will get more back at the end of the season from Vancouver or other teams. Quite smart as they can afford to wait...the Jets cannot.
