A top 6 RW (UFA) and a top 4 RH D ( UFA) wouldn't cost too much and would greatly this club
- WaterBoy

I wouldn't mind a RW UFA but I would prefer a RH D who would stay here for many years. Gonchar may not be back, same for Weaver. So a kid could move up and play 3rd pairing, but they'll need a top 4 RH D.

Oh! Forgot about Gilbert. Trade him too!

True but it's not the worse problem to have.
- Cyberhabs

I can imagine the Habs winning the cup but QP flipping out because they have no 1st rounder.

Quite sure a RH D with term would cost us way more... but if he's worth it.. yeah.

I think it's possible to get both.

If the Kings fall out of the playoffs... I'd love to see Williams traded here.

If the Jets fall out of the playoffs... I'd love to see Wheeler traded here

Meh. All our picks are like first rounders so it doesn't matter.

After some brilliant strategizing, i traded Eller (salary retained) and a 1st rounder for Sharp in the Hawks thread. Great deal or what?

I was gonna make a joke about Kopitar coming to the Habs instead of Williams but forgot who was Kopitar-light.
