If the Kings fall out of the playoffs... I'd love to see Williams traded here.

Hearing he might get sent to the Leafs in a deal for Phaneuf and then flipped before the deadline.

Sharp's name seems to come up a lot with Mtl. Not sure why Chicago would let him go. He sounds like a good fit over there and it's not like Chicago has no chance going into the post season. Maybe they need the cap space for another deal?

I am really not sure what to expect Bergevin to do. The team is at the top of the conference and Price has been playing out of his mind. He is entering his prime and although there is no indication that he might slip a bit next season, it remains a possibility. Also, Markov is not getting any younger and as much as many of us thought that he was done, there is no one that is close to being able to take his minutes. Does MB play it safe and perhaps miss an opportunity to make a really deep run? This team is arguably better today than it was last spring. A bona fide number 3 or 4 dman would go a long way in improving the teams chances and perhaps get to the finals. Detroit is really the only team that scares me in the East. I am really torn as to what I would like Bergevin to do. We have some promising prospects (not elite but pretty good) coming along so it may be better to wait. Just curious to see what you guys think.

Decide which prospects are not available (DLR, Sherbak, McCarron... who else?), package some of the others to get a#3 dman who will play here more than 20 games.

I think so too. What about picks? A number 1 pick in this draft is pretty valuable from what we have all been hearing. I guess it would depend on the return but would anyone sacrifice it and if so, for who? I seriously have no idea.

Hurts when everyone knows it'll be the 30th overall pick.

I would prefer to keep the pick obviously, but if you get a Yandle type of player, go for it.

A top 6 RW (UFA) and a top 4 RH D ( UFA) wouldn't cost too much and would greatly this club
