He's on the 4th line for Chicago today, and.... Bergevin is watching the game.

Never liked Leipsic, but he's pretty good at putting up points. Fiesty guy too. Props to Shanaban and Nonis for the first rounder in a very good draft.

Nashville's defense is now the best in the league, if it wasn't already

You think Olli is gonna be a good fit on the Habs? Reading they are considering sending over a 5th for him.

He's worth a 5th just for the weird faces he provides

Sharp's name seems to come up a lot with Mtl. Not sure why Chicago would let him go. He sounds like a good fit over there and it's not like Chicago has no chance going into the post season. Maybe they need the cap space for another deal?

It will be a shadow of itself by the time the Habs meet them in the spring.

The Cap will bite Chicago in the ass next year. They already had to get rid of a young and somewhat cheap player in Leddy. Toews and Kane go from a 6,3M cap hit each to a 10,5M next year. That's 8,4M less they can spend on the rest of the roster. Add that to the fact that Saad, Kruger, Richards, Oduya, Erixon and Rundblad are due to resign and it's certainly a cap issue for the Hawks.

Sharp has a 5,9M cap hit with two more years remaining beyond this year on his contract. 33 years old.

The other possibility could be Bickell, but he has a more manageable 4M cap hit.

Or Sharp and Bickell together? We need a Bickell type guy in the lineup, we don't really have any forwards like him and he's a playoff beast. Was talking with a Hawks fan yesterday in the EK thread and he thinks Eller would be a good return for him, but what will Sharp cost?

Bickell is not worth his contract.

I'd take Sharp any day.

I'd rather see Tinordi and let Gilbert back for a game against Det.
