Beaulieu was out for 17 minutes and 40 seconds...he got 5 min for fighting, 2 minutes instigator (they never call that) and 10 min misconduct. With Gonchar out, they were forced to play with 4 Defensemen all that time.

Pretty entertaining game last night. I thought Bernier played very well, all things considered. Good on Beaulieu for sticking up for Gonchar, even though I don't think that Clarkson deserved to get tossed. Galchenyuk's shoot out goal was unreal.

The guy was whining that Therrien stapled Beaulieu to the bench after his fight.

He didn't. Beaulieu was penalized for 17 minutes and wasn't available.

On the contrary, I'm pretty sure Therrien was pleased to see Beaulieu step up and defend his teammate.

Glen Healy's Leaf trolling last night was spectacular. The guy was truly tireless. From the opening puck drop to the end of the shoot out, he was insatiable. It was Bergeresque.

Dozzer would not have put up with it.
