This team is 1st in the east in mid-February and has been with the leaders in the Conference from the get go. Maybe Therrien actually knows his team better than we do. Price makes them a better team. Big (frank)ing surprise. The best goalie on the planet actually makes his team better. And btw, the 86 and 93 cups don't happen without Roy, the 71 doesn't happen without Dryden and so on and so on.

I really don't get it. Every team has holes and they play through them. No one is unbeatable. Teams like the Oilers, Yotes and Sabres have accumulated some points this year, and contrary to popular belief, not all of these points came against the habs. I trust this management team much more than the previous ones.

My mind is still boggled that there are some out there that would rather Halak over Carey to this very day.

93 was not all Roy, no matter what the media tries to feed us. Don't get me wrong, Patrick Roy was unreal in that run but that team had some really excellent pieces on it. A team with the likes of Damphousse, Muller, Carb, Bellows, Desjardins, Keane, Schneider, Leclair among others I'd take in a heartbeat over the current roster with Price....hands down.

93 was not all Roy, no matter what the media tries to feed us. Don't get me wrong, Patrick Roy was unreal in that run but that team had some really excellent pieces on it. A team with the likes of Damphousse, Muller, Carb, Bellows, Desjardins, Keane, Schneider, Leclair among others I'd take in a heartbeat over the current roster with Price....hands down.

Absolutely true. But don't forget Roy was terrible in the first two games of that series. Desjardins & Damphoussee were pretty damn important too.
