it will be, but the fact remains that the jets are giving up a 1st and getting a 2nd. the jets 1st, no offense (it will be way better than my teams), will still almost surely be in the mid to late teens. i can't see them giving up kane and falling back 10-15 spots in the draft for staffard, armia, and lemieux

I can see your point... what Chevy might consider, however, is that out of this "deal" he's getting a top-nine winger. With Stafford, we can put Buff back on D for the remainder of the season.

With Armia and Lemieux (two former 1st round picks who can both put the puck in the net), we'll have some decent prospects on wing. Definitely a move for next season... with those guys, plus Petan and Ehlers coming up... we wouldn't have to keep guys like Galiardi, Halischuk and Peluso.
