JR on WIP saying the FLyers STILL don't have their #1 goalie. Is he really this (frank)ing stupid? Jesus
- nastyflyergirl

I guess he is that stupid.....but I still love him just for that OT goal against the Leafs!

I can't believe you listen to WIP

I stopped listening at 2 now that they have that clown Josh Innis on. He is literally difficult to listen to. I rather play for sirius radio than listen to that clown.

So does Jack Edwards, as long as he doesn't ever touch a Bruin.

It's kinda sad that Angelo and the morning show is now the high point of the day for that station.

I agree with you on everything, and you're right that none of Ghost/Morin/Sanheim/Hagg are assured to be good NHL players. My only point was that the Flyers, in recent years, have actually done a pretty decent job of finding highly-touted prospects outside of the top-5 picks and a few of them have turned into good/elite players.

That said, they'll be closer to top-10 than top-5, and I'm totally fine with that.

I thought they'd pick 10th, and was hoping to see some really good progress, but if they are without Mason it's gonna be difficult

Even without Mason, they're still good to finish 8th-12th . My hope is that, no matter what, they go down swinging.

He must be a fancy stats guy, because he's clearly not watching the games

Also likes to laugh when other teams' players get boarded. True professional.

The Feb schedule is way easier than March. Even if they stay above .500 till the deadline, they could fall off again in a hurry if Mason is out for a couple months.

Yeah like that Nash who left Columbus as a free agent comment.....on 3 different days. I loved JR as a player. I have a Flyers JR jersey. Loved him in Chicago and everywhere else. but man, as an analyst.........he infuriates me
- nastyflyergirl

He was a great player -- because a chunk of it was before a ton of television and because the Blackhawks blacked out their local games, I don't think he gets the credit he truly deserves as an elite player

But as good as he was as a player, he is about as bad an analyst, which is sad, because I know he could be better

He had a fantastic personality on the ice to go along with his HOF career (he's in, isn't he? If he's not.....), but as an analyst, I feel he just tries too hard to be "that crazy guy."

If Raffl survives, and he takes White's place in that lineup...you squint just a little and you can see a forward group that, especially with a little finesse this summer, could win a round in the playoffs as soon as next season

They just need to hold it together, do good things, for the rest of the year. It is so important

So now Rinaldo is laying out his teammates with hits in practices. He knocked Coburn flat today. They need to jettison this piece of donkey feces

Frustrating -- injuries happen, of course, but I haven't enjoyed watching a goalie play this much since Roman Cechmanek was a Vezina finalist in 2001

I thought you couldn't practice with the team while you're suspended.

Good god he is terrible.

He's said some very questionable stuff on air. Can't see him lasting long tbh.
