I have bought 1 last 3 years, if you don't get a jersey in it. then you will get less then what you paid for. but you helped a great cause
Usually get an autographed puck first year Lemieux, then Vitale, last year Jussi and Guerin. You get a mystery item Jersey or other item,
But you get a bag full of Pens swag and some Lemieux items you wont find anywhere.

I plan on buying two this year, and giving one to my boss for his birthday...he bought me a membership to the country club for mine, I know it doesnt compare...but he is rich lol |

Thanks I usually do some sort of charity donation at tax time and I'm thinking of doing this. I just didn't want a bag of knock off stuff. |

eh im still torn on him.
i dont hold him up to be some untouchable asset.
but as of now, he is cheap, and there really arent many alternatives. i disagree with the line combos a lot of the time, so that doesnt help.
but from his own perspective, bennett really needs to find his groove and what he offers. if he isnt going to be a guy who offers anything other than finesse, he needs to be better at making tangible returns on those attributes. he needs to show something. if not actual points, than the ability to drive possession. i do think the skills are there, but it really just hasnt been consistently shown to mean anything.
i dont think he should continuously be scratched in favor of guys like sill, but a game or two here to hopefully light a fire under him is fine by me. |

Bylsma scratched him for Glass in the playoffs, MF for Sill and Ebbett....if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
I just dont see the effort to prove his worth from him. Its frusterating, I want him to for hte Pens, for cap reasons and if not, its just another bad pick from Shero. |

im not an nhl coach, so my opinion isnt worth much, but i really dont get those benchings. for those players anyway. i really dont.
im far from saying he is without blame, and that he doesnt need to improve considerably. but ill take bennett right now, warts and all, over any of those 3 guys listed. |

They are 250....if you get a signed jersey, very much worth it. It goes to a good charity, and its a nice gift to yourself or someone else. I think they do 1k of them total. You can buy them at the game, online or by phone. They go pretty fast, so you have to be ready as soon as they go on sale. |

i know sutter and bennett had some chemistry earlier in the season, but right now they simply are just too similarly flawed and it is killing them.
i know he hasnt done much to earn it yet, but i really think before the decision is made to totally wash their hands of him, he needs to be placed on a line with malkin and kunitz, on the right side, and be given a 12 game or so stretch to run with it and see what happens. |

Kind of a stupid question. They gotta send something to acquire him.... obviously they would be trading the cap space to get him. |

I am in for the Sutter hate. He was invisible until 5 minutes gone from the third and then he had the worst shift I have seen a Penguins player take since the infamous Gonchar getting walked in Game 7 shift. Bad giveaway, no hustle and out of position. He looked like he should have been wearing an Oilers jersey. |

Agreed. Dont know what has happened to him either but if BB is a healthy scratch, then so should Sutter. |

It's amazing that line was worse than the 4th and it wasn't close. It took me a while to jump on the "Hate Sutter" bandwagon but I'm there too. |

Being good at faceoffs is his only saving grace. I think he would be gone.
JR is systematically getting rid of all the crap that Shero brought to this club. Neal, Goc, Stemp, JJ (although I thought he was great) Im sure Sutter is next, Martin will not be resigned, BB will be gone, Adams, Its interesting to watch. |

To me Sutter and BB are the same. I would have no problem moving either if the piece coming back is worth while. The only thing I would have a problem with is moving BB for some older rental type player. I don't that would happen anyway unless it was a package deal of some sorts. Unfortunately I don't think either have much trade value unless again they're packaged with another player. |

I liked JJ too. Wish we kept him over Sutter, but he got over-paid IMO. I'd take Stempy over Spaling in a heartbeat. JR brought back Goc.
I seriously would trade Sutter for an UFA. Even if you can't keep the UFA, they can find his replacement easily in FA. |
