little bit of a headache.

longingly looking at condos online. got hooked up with some realtor guy who sent me a list of starter homes and they have 2016 property taxes listed so i have a starting point to see if any areas are affordable.

well, unless the red tie wearing idiots really (frank) up, property taxes can be a deduction on your income taxes if you itemize. though, that depends if that amount would exceed the standard deductions.

oh no. i need to stay here near my nieces and my job.

i'll find something. even if i have to wait a while to afford it. it's just gonna be a small place. 2 br, 1 bath or something like that. i'm not that fancy but i do want it to be at least a little bit upgraded by the past owner so i don't have to do a massive overhaul to keep it worth anything for the day i have to sell it.

this lender lady sent me a worksheet and it was a condo i could totes afford, maybe even right now.

now it was small and just a 1br, 1 bath and i'm sure if i go look at it it won't be like the pictures in the ad, but at least this means there are condos in the area that i can get into.

that is good news. my only advice is don't settle. if you have certain items you want, stick to them. its a huge step kick. no reason to rush it. Very encouraging though.

check around and see how long 1BR are on the market for future reference. BUT it will be beneficial to familiarize yourself with the process.
