i think we can all agree - in a standard, non parallel situation - with two cars already in the adjacent spaces, it is far easier and more sensical to just pull in headfirst rather than backing in while attempting to go in straight, not hit either car and leave room on both sides.

backing out all you need is a quick peek to see no pedestrians or cars are coming
