just heard a conversation where one person beat around the bush about why they had to leave at 2:45 today until they finally sheepishly admitted they had to have a scan done regarding a brain lesion.

the other person responded with a joke about cheap drinks at the american legion here in town.

just seemed like the wrong response.

t-rex the meat eater kind of makes me uncomfortable. great guy and all but he just walked up to my desk and asked how i was doing today. i told him i was good and he just stood there looking at me. after a few uncomfortable seconds of that happening he said "5 stars" and gave me a thumbs up before walking away.
