Kyle Korver and Steph Curry are probably the best shooters in the NBA right now. Kyle Korver has a chance to become the first player ever with a 50% FG percentage, 50% 3pt percentage and 90% free throw percentage

So the guy who couldn't even crack a piss-poor Sixers team is one of the best players in the league?

Come on, that's untrue. The NBA is full of prominent role models who teach values like good teamwork, positive attitudes, moral high grounds, putting others before yourself, and playing by the rules while not putting yourself on a pedestal.

I hope my kids turn out like Metta World Peace. There's a human being to aspire to. Only because I can't remember the name of the dude who choked his own coach.

I called Kyle Korver's success before he stepped on Sixers court for the first time

I just did a Google image search for Kevin Durant. Every "action shot" aside from 2 is either him dunking, "dribbling" with his hand on the side of/under the ball, dunking, or doing his best Ray Lewis "I'm about to murder you" face.

Does that reflect on the talent entering the league, though? The NBA's biggest problem is the NBA, in my expert non-viewer opinion.

I'll just throw this out there, since we're on topic: despite being remarkably decisive, I think the last two minutes of an NBA basketball game are far and away the worst sports viewing out there. I'd rather watch a whole soccer match, in slow motion and reverse.

- BulliesPhan87

When watching the soccer game in reverse, is there any point in watching when the score gets to 0-0?

if someone's not an NBA fan, fine by me

but reading this kind of uninformed crap is no different than the idiots who rip hockey and call it a fringe sport with a bunch of foreigners with unpronounceable names

There is a reason to watch a soccer game? Is it to see 30 guys feign being crippled in burning agony and miraculously healing in a 10-second span, watching players kick a ball back and forth for 45 minutes at a time, or the small chance that a full-on riot will break out?

So you'd say that most NBA players are good role models for kids to emulate? They're not narcissistic, don't like to "posterize" other players, and are generally good-natured guys?

Except I talked about the way the game's been forever as opposed to a 15-year span based on players' attitudes.

At least you finally admit it.

Edit: I'm wrong. I hope my daughter watched Kobe Bryant and LeBron James on the court and wants to act just like them.
