Is like people forget the man battled through cancer as a teenager. Has a lot to do with his stature and balding. He's still fast

How about that snooze fest they called the All Star game That was embarrassing and a mockery of the game of hockey. And people paid top dollar for THAT. Going to a local beer league game would have been more interesting. These games have got to GO

I second that. Who are they attempting to entertain with
That pathetic defense? From the fan voting in the top 6 to the
'Draft' -players from the same team facing off against each other?-
It is just a non functioning event.

To Islanders- Jeff Petry + Pittsburgh's 1st
To Edmonton- Ryan Pulock

Why the hell would the Isles make that trade? Petry wouldn't start on the current Isles lineup. Its giving away Pulock for nothing.

Your GM pretty much put you in win now mode when he traded your 1st rounder away for magic beans.

Not only are you incorrect simply because the Isles have stockpiled a ton of talent...unlike your GM and org, the Isles have developed it. We have two #1s waiting to break into our lineup but can't because our top 6 is more than solid. We have kids like Leddy, HIckey, Reinhart, Pulock, deHaan, Lee, Strome, Brock Nelson all on their entry level deals. We have plenty of young talent to survive not having a 1st round pick this year. Heck, you have drafted in the lottery for nearly a decade now and it ain't helping you.

You apparently went to the Tambelini school for GMs with that trade offer. Petry wouldn't knock any of our top 6 out of the lineup.

You really think islander fans are worrying about what number our 1st is going to be next year? They are sitting near the top of the conference for the first time in 20 years and you wanna talk about next years 1st?? Apreciate the offer but Pulock is probably the best D prospect they have and will be playing on the island next year. If they are moving Pulock in a deal my guess it wouldn't be for a rental and low 1st rd pick. Isles are built for the long haul with or without petry

Exactly. I haven't thought about that 1st round pick the Sabres are getting from us since Columbus Day.

If Pullock or Reinhart get moved, it will be to bring in a top 4 dman, which they don't need or a top line wing, which they do need.

Anyone else find it comical an Oilers fan is telling anyone how to build a team?
