I think it wouldve been good if they didnt do the under 23 team.
I would've done:
CANADA
USA
RUSSIA
SWEDEN
FINLAND
CZECH
SLOVAKIA
EURO ALL-STAR*
Selecting the best from the rest, like SWISS, NORWAY, GERMANY etc etc
The under 23 team is too gimmicky. If they had to have it, it shouldve been under 23 of the guys who arent taken by their country. So lets say McDavid is good enough to play for Canada, but he's under 23, he can't play for Canada. So dumb.
The under 23 team should get to choose guys who didnt make it.

No one ever says the regular Olympics are disrespectful to Japan or England. Slovakia has 5 million people, they have one NHLer. Honestly, who cares? I don't care about fairness or arrogance. It is also not the NHLs responsibility to help build up other nations hockey programs.
