Was a pretty sweet goal though

Listened to PA this morning (reluctantly) and he had Gorgy on. KG stating that Parises puck to the mouth injury in the Edmonton game actually required an emergency Root canal due to one or more broken teeth that had exposed live nerves. The procedure that usually requires sedation and a day or two recovery process complete with pain meds and much rest was done on Zach in between periods which allowed him to retake the ice in the 2nd to help his team to a much needed 2 points.

I'm not sure anything could better epitomize Parise as the most dedicated player and clear leader and true Captain of this team.

Edit; Russo reporting it was a partial root canal, they removed the nerve. Which I would imagine is still pretty effing excruciating.
