They haven't been losing because they're soft. They've been losing because virtually the entire lineup is making terrible decisions at a ridiculous rate. The top line was a -7 against the Islanders.....they lost that came because they played sh*t D.

One thing I can say without hesitation, Sill isn't the answer for a serviceable big guy.

Sill will be gone when Comeau and Hornqist return. I disagree about why they lose though. I think our division plays us real physical and we can't answer Rags, Isles, or Philly.

Not really talking about Sill fighting but at least he tries to hit. Goc seems really soft for a 4th line.

Our defense looks scared backing in and giving up gaps so big you could drive a Mack Truck through them. That might have something to do with it.

I'm glad somebody else see's this... They've been making a bunch of poor decisions the last month or so and it's usually trying to force offense. Lot's of turnovers in bad areas.

Yep, much bigger problem than physicality. Usually the physical deficiencies come when the Penguins are losing already and then get pushed around when they act out.

No matter the defensive system, or the breakout, or the defensive commitment, any team with Crosby and Malkin is going to believe that they can and should outscore opponents, which leads to turnovers.

IMO this team was at it's best when it wore teams down with little scrappy guys (Cooke, Talbot, Kennedy, Adams, Vitale, Roberts not little) This is the best depth we have had in awhile but not as physical.

It's groundhog day. Every game the Penguins will completely outplay the other team for 10 minute intervals and then that team comes down and scores some flukey BS goal which completly deflates them.
