it is annoying. If a Ranger fan did that on the Flyers board he would have been called troll 50 times - jimbro83
Probably. Just takes me a lot more to get annoyed I guess. |

What do you guys think of Jake Voracek? Based on his past 3 seasons, is he top-20? Top-50? - jmatchett383
I've always liked Voro, when you guys put the offer sheet out to Weber and left him exposed I wanted the Rangers to put a claim in for him |

Couturier supposedly one of the best defensive forwards in hockey. I believe he may be a minus 97 today |

Always thought his defensive ability became overhyped because he shut down Malkin in the playoffs his rookie year. Ever since then he's the next Bergeron only much bigger. |

I agree. though I think both Couts and B Schenn are a little overhyped.
on another note, i keep getting this feeling that Zuccs is going to be traded this year. he isnt having a great year and I doubt if we can sign him next year. he is looking for brassard money, I definetly think they will trade him.
does anyone know what he is expecting to get for his next contract? |

I don't necessarily think he will be traded. I think he is a huge part of the chemistry of this team and trading him will hurt the dressing room.
I do think the Rangers won't meet his demands and he will leave as a UFA this summer, somebody giving him 5 mil + a year |

Voracek and Giroux continue to pile on cheap points in Flyer losses. If anyone even considers them in Hart trophy talk they are morons. |

Zuccarello will have balls the size of cantaloupes if he demands a salary of five million per. |

Can't give an MVP to a player that didn't help his team make the playoffs. |

yeah, going into this season, after leading the Rangers in points last year, I thought he could get that. But, he just doesn't score enough to remotely warrant that money |

It's why I think some of the awards are flawed. Norris always seems to go to the defensemen with/close to the most points. I feel like being the best defensemen in the NHL means so much more then that. |

Who knows, NHL GMs lose their minds come July 1st. As good as Sather is with doling out contracts, to his own and in making trades, he has been prone to making some questionable questionable decisions in free agency.
He isn't the only out there, Zuccarello could easily get that sort of money from some desperate or delusional organization. |

Zuccarello is one good playoff away from a $5.5M a year deal. |

Ask Dave Bolland and his agent just how profitable it can be to be a prime playoff performer while being a pretty pedestrian regular season player. |

Why I would have to go with Zucc over Hagelin. Almost identical point totals in the playoffs yet Zuccarello has played in only 1/2 the games Hagelin has. Love both players but I think the higher contract for Zucc if the money is there is a better choice. |

The one argument for Hagelin is this team is built on speed. Take away the fastest guy on the team who is a good forchecker and can kill penalties will hurt a bit. |

I'm sure Zucc and Pouliot still text. |

Yup, its why I would really hope there would be a way to keep them both. If it has to be one to go though, I would lean towards Hagelin.
Who knows, maybe Zucc loves it NY so much, he will sign for a deep discount. |
