Well theres something different about you guys when you play the Flyers. I mean there have been times the Flyers came out and walked all over you guys and still...... 5-2 Lightning final. It doesnt even matter if the worst goalie in the league is on your team. Flyers will find a way to lose.

You can't run a team on the hypothetical that a totally healthy player might blow out his knee. The demand for rental dmen will be strongest around the trade deadline, just like always.

I don't think the Flyers will make the playoffs and I want them to sell off two defensemen. But I'm not going to bash Hextall for not selling yet when we haven't even got to the All-Star game.

Yep. That is certainly a possibility. If you wait, a player can become injured, and you end up getting no assets for them.

There have been a few small trades so far, but I don't think the market has developed yet. I hope Hextall is shopping players who he doesn't view as part of the core going forward.

But right now, I'm getting kids and lesser used players into games. I'm playing Colaiacovo regularly, Id be looking to start the selling, and open doors to get a peek at guys in the AHL, especially if they don't have bonuses that kick in for games played. Guys like Manning are a perfect example.

I found it amazing that Couturier was only -17 despite lugging around Read and Umberger all season. I think Read was -37 and Umberger -55. That's kind of amazing.

Schenn is also creating a fair amount of chances now that he's away from Vinny. I know a lot of it has to do with G and Jake, but he hasn't been with them for the entire season.

I think the ASG might see something. Everyone together, hanging out drinking beer and talking shop. There's fringe teams that are going to be looking to do something to stay in the chase, and the Flyers can hopefully take advantage of one of them
