it was a perfect storm. nashville had weber and suter on defense, and they knew they would lose one, which meant they thought they had a narrow window for a deep playoff run. on paper, gaustad looks like a nice #3 center for a playoff team- plays two way, big enough to play physical, good face off guy. if you only have one kick at the can, youre more likely to overpay.

my concern with murray is more long term- hes gonna move the pending ufas for whatever the market will bear, and if myers or one of the other untouchables gets moved- it will be for an extremely nice player/package coming back this way. my concern, is that the time is gonna come where he is going to have to move some quantity for some quality, and even though i think hes more than willing, im not sure if he finds a dance partner. lotsa of middling prospects, lotsa nice picks.

The Sabres draw well on the southern swing. I was down here a few years ago and ended up sitting next to my old next door neighbor that moved down here when we were kids.

Welcome...To Florida have lived in Windermere for about 25 years....We go to all the games except this one....We even had the $300 season tix for the panthers last year and sold a bunch of gms that others wanted nad got 4 Jersey...Tix in Florida are much cheaper than Buffalo.....Enjoy the gm still looking to see if something breaks late

I'm skipping games in Tampa this year. not worth the drive or the $$$. Especially when you can almost predict the 6-1 score...
