score goals...get sent back to rochester

i think we've gone full tank

We don't play again until Tuesday. It's about the salary cap and making sure there's enough bodies in Rochester, especially since they have a game tonight.

I was wondering since they haven't mentioned anyone coming back from injury... makes sense.

He is a good player when on a good team. Does all the little things good teams need. Just one problem, we aren't good.

Keep him if you can't get a 1st (which I don't think you can)

He's a good 4-6 guy

This team is doing what most of us wanted them to do, lose. Regardless, it's still hard to watch, especially when this downward spiral is impacting the play of our promising youngsters.

The coaching staff can only do so much, even if you don't agree with Nolan's style. It is what it is and it's truly up to the player to make these games "watchable". I haven't seen a lot of scrums after the whistle or aggressive play the past couple weeks. Is it going to take another dirty hit against one of them to wake them up?

The lack of talent and depth is surely showing its ugly mug... what a poop-show!!

According to Nhlnumbers, Freakorenko is an RFA after this season... is this correct?

And no longer waiver exempt, which means in 15-16 he's either in BUF or on another NHL team.

Hmmm, I wonder if he will be part of a package with one of the team's FA's. Interesting to think about, especially the amount of money he's worth.

So he's either ready to up with the big club or he would have to clear waivers to be sent down? Is this because of the crap that Darcy pulled in his rookie season? Why couldn't he start in Rochester and then get called up? Sorry about all the questions.

All I have to say is if Murray thinks a top 2 pick in the draft and Reinhart are going to turn this team around, he has another thing coming.

what an ugly game

Exactly, this team needs a few more above average players than Reinhart and our 1st rd. draft pick. Goaltending is still a big question mark as the Sabres enter next season.

The D needs help, looked really bad last night. The quality of shots Tampa had was unreal. They could have had 7 goals last night, easily.

The team looked slow as hell

None of the sabres scoring chances 5 on 5 looked like they had a prayer to go in the net

Connolly seems deep in the Bolt dog house, try to get him out of Tampa

Do you have a clue why that is? This teams doesn't need another guy to blend in with this mess.

Your're right, their defense is playing terrible, passing sucks, forechecking is weak, shot choice is horrible (if they actually have a chance at one)... did I leave anything out?

It's pretty bad when Vernone, Kaleta and McCormick were your best players.

No clue.
I asked a few Tampa fans about him, they seem to like good Connolly but don't see enough of good Connolly

I noticed when the teams came out of the locker room for the second and third period, every bolt did a little skate before heading to the bench. Most of the sabres went straight to the bench and did not even take a stride on the ice.

I question coaching now as a problem as well.
