People are upset that he didn't come out today and say we're trading X and trading Y. Do that and ruin their value.

Why would Shanny make public the Leafs plans?? Why would anyone expect him to? Does any other team spell out their plans in public?

Really there are only a few teams that it would even matter if they did
Florida might have held dozens of them, but nobody would know

The leafs are just a different entity altogether.. the ones shouting the loudest complaining about a press conference are the ones that make up the problem imo

Here's my buzzed-already-with-lunchtime-pints moves:

Bozak to Calgary for Glencross and a 3rd (CAL needs another center behind Monahan and Bozak's an upgrade over Stajan)

Clarkson and Calgary's 3rd for Mike Richards (LA saves 500K in cap, same term length as Clarkson).

All we can do is cross our fingers. I have been waiting a long time for this team to be relevant again..
