Phaneuf for RoR actually makes sense if people take off the Leafs hate glasses. I think you move Phaneuf to Colorado where he isn't the number 1C they are a better team after the trade.

I don't see him as a #1. I see him as a very good 2-way guy who I would love to have on the team.

I am no longer convinced our Defense problem is all about our Dmen. It is about a dearth of 2-way forwards, and a complete lack of work ethic and adherence to a system.

Look at Montreal. I don't love their D on paper, but they are a good defensive team and it is not 100% Carey Price. They work, and they play a system.
