So why watch the games? It's all a trick I guess.
- dionschenn

Because just like magic, it's for entertainment.

It's not all a trick but it doesn't mean that you can see everything that is actually going on, every second of every game.

The real question is do you have huge chunks of onions sticking out of them everywhere looking like a science experiment gone horribly wrong?

they need to implement a system designed for the core they have now, no?
not this crap defensive system Carlyle was preaching, he should have known he didn't have those type of players

He does, you mean he doesn't think you should stop and take your time?... Obviously, and no he didn;t need stats to see that, or I hope not for the sake of humanity...

- aminnes

Scotty Bowman wasn't good at his job by the way. How could he have been? Corsi wasnt around so he couldn't stress advanced stats to his team like the Great Dallas Eakins.

It was more than 7 words, wasn't it? I usually can't get past 6. My apologies.

oh poopty.. what went? the element?

the fuse? lol

It's gas. Not sure what the deal is. It is convection, but it won't light and seems like there is no gas getting to it. I'm not sure if it could be the convection fan and if it doesn't work, then the gas won't flow? Or the ignition - but then you'd think we'd smell gas. I have no idea. We've had it for 12 years now, so we are deciding whether we spend money on it or just bite the bullet.

I said two too many... not seventeen too many...

I think you really took the emphasis off what he was trying to get across there...

Of course you cant see everything. Just like a math sheet does not tell you everything about the game. You need both, but some people put way too much thought into the math sheet.

corsi/fenwick have been shown to correlate very closely to actual possession ..thats why its used as a proxy.. its also one of the best ways to predict future success..

nothing is perfect..but use what you can get try to get any advantage you can

yeah tough call.. if you arent smelling gas it isnt flowing.. or it is and the valve isnt opening to feed it over the pilot.. or.. maybe the pilot light is out entirely?

glo plug is shot?
can you see it glowing under the bottom tray at the back?
if it is glowing then the regulator is stuck, you get those unstuck by tapping them with a hammer.
its at the back behind the bottom shelf
