If it's poor performance, I have you beat. Redskins have 3 Superbowls, Lions have never appeared in the Superbowl. Rest of the teams are the same.

I think this is lowest I have ever seen this Leafs organization in my life. Complete rock bottom. The uncertainty of the front office is disgraceful. You just know Nonis will be fired eventually and it will get out that he didn't really have a clue what was going on since Shanahan came in. I'm not even a fan of Nonis, but it's clear he is just a puppet for Shanahan. And now we're banking on a guy with no GM experience (Shanahan) and a young unproven executive (Dubas) to save this team? My god.

How many more experienced coaches do the Leafs need to chase before people realize this team just isn't good enough?

I watched a stream from the Sky feed of an NFL game not too long ago and the best part for me was the hilarity of their British announcers breaking down the game with the ex NFLers they had on as analysts. They both could understand (but pretended they did) what each other was saying half the time.

Is it like that when you watch SN coverage of the EPL for example?

SN isn't too bad, for the in-game play by play they use some of the British play-by-play guys and for the panel they have guys like Craig Forrest (Canadian, played EPL) and Danny Dichio (Brit, played for TFC). The US networks are the worst though as they don't even attempt to employ anybody with even the slightest iota (great word!) of knowledge about the game...

No harm done. Welcome back. We are just discussing the best way to offload our best players for worse assets in the hopes that we can tank harder than Buffalo.

I was also shocked just by the twitter reactions about how many people seem to believe Carlyle was a major issue. He may not have been the best fit but was no where near the issue. Now people are excited because Horachek mentioned "possession". If all you have to do is "believe in Corsi" then why dont we just hire James Mirtle as the coach. The analytics stuff is getting out of hand. Bruce Boudreau notoriously dislikes Corsi/advanced stats, he is currently coaching the league's first place team.

I don't see JVR as floating as much as the rest of them..the guy actually back checks usually. And in the case of a former 2nd overall potting 30 Ginos a year at a 4M cap hit, then yes money is definitely a factor.
