Clarkson I agree with. Lupul I don't. I think you could get something for him. We'd only be looking to free cap space really from either so the return could be 7th round picks for all I care.

Teams don't have the room necessarily but we could take a shorter, smaller cap hit contract.

I think Lupul has value at the trade deadline, if he's healthy. A team like LA, needing some offense, might bite on him, especially if they're teetering on a playoff spot. If we take back some salary, for this year, we might be able to pry a first rounder out of them.

If you actually think getting rid of JVR at 4M per is a good idea, then you are part of the problem. We got him via highway robbery and hes only getting better. It would be a waste if we did not get at least a decade out of him.

Yup, by the way, not always about money, LA has a 5.5 million dollar 3rd line centre... JVr has the same entitled attitude as his buddies in the team, now, if they moved out others and he also changed with the times thats one thing, but he floats around looking for points like the rest of them all the time...

Agree, Kadri has top line potential, albeit a 60 - 70 point guy, but 200 ft game... Having a guy like Mike Richards instead of Bozak would help change the culture thats for sure...

I think this an important factor. I just showed the +/- of our top forwards. Bozak and kessel are our worst minus players. Kessel made jvr and lupul have career years but bozak does not help the line defensively or bail out kessel or the line in general. Nor does he win alot of faceoffs. I believe bozak and gardiner should be the guys shipped out and we should obtain a more defensive center and a better two-way defender that is quality and not a 3rd pairing guy

I think bozak should be traded and gardiner, go out there and get a more defensive center who will work hard (O'Rielly, Mike Richards, etc) ... and when lupul/jvr joined that line, their +/- just got worse. So either kessel or bozak is the problem regarding work ethic. Instead of lupul being sacrificed first, i think Bozak should be traded first. I like kessel because he made lupul/jvr have career years
