Cause the caps goal went off of franson's stick.

Points over the last 4 seasons? Phil has 278, Kane has 263. Neither is physical (Kane is listed as 5'11, 177 lbs on NHL.com) and neither plays particularly solid defense. Both have been questioned for attitude (Kane of course punched a taxi driver, as well as spent many summers partying hard). They seem pretty similar to me.

(Oh, should I mention that Kane played alongside Toews, Kessel alongside guys like Bozak and Crabb...)

Horachek's been given a broom and is already cleaning up the visitors dressing room.

There we go; if we're gonna dissect any comment from Kessel these past two days this is the one. I have a problem with that one, for sure. If he says "Well, sometimes you don't get the bounces and just have to keep pushing harder to work through it", then that's the answer we want...

That's what I've been responding two for two blogs now.

I just want him to be a better all-around player if he's going to stay here. Maybe a new coach will get through to him, but Wilson or Carlyle sure didn't.

And RC had some interesting comments today about how this team (and athletes these days), you can't rip them a new one, you have to coddle them up... something about how every kid gets a trophy nowadays.

I can see that with this group for sure.
