But for the love of whatever God you subscribe to, don't go giving away one of the top scorers in the league for next to nothing just because the media made everybody think that he's the problem...

Since when does the media play into this? Christ, watch this guy play night in and night out for the last 5 years and you'll understand why they can't win with him on the roster as the "best player".

If by some miracle we're gifted the winning end of a trade involving the rest of the core, sure, build around him, but that ain't happening.
