Since Kessel is locked for 7 more years I think more teams then just contending teams make the call. Florida thinks they have some good pieces. I'm sure they'd love to add Kessel to Barkov's wing.

Again...LA has an amazing culture. Pretty much the opposite of the leafs (play their best hockey when the pressure is on ). It may surprise you, but like boston im not so sure they want questionable dedicated guys around like kessel.

right and then you compare that with Chicago. the list of players (current and past) selected outside the first round who have been major contributors is impressive: Keith, Bickell, Crawford, Hjalmersson, Saad, Bolland, Byfuglien, Kruger, Shaw... to say nothing of trades and signings (Hossa, Sharp, Oduya, Leddy, Versteeg) and then their smashes in the first round like Toews, Kane, Ladd, Seabrook... they're just a really well run organization right now top to bottom.
