The opinion that he chooses to put the most stock into or believe is obviously the correct one and basically becomes fact..

how about the core? seems fine? and what about examples from above? i've just honestly never heard anything other than carlyle, lupul, bozak.
- clark_griswold

the problem with this core is that they're 3 guns short on the first 2 line, so maybe trade Kessel and be 4 guns short

because the lack of success is a joke for a big market team...just read the article...or keep telling yourself they are in great shape.

Lack of success as in not winning the championship?

Is Chicago a big market? Was 1908 a long time ago?

Problem is the core, it's that there isn't much of/enough of a core to be effective.

Removing something that you are lacking in doesn't make you have more of it. You see?

There are laws in Quebec against driving in the left lane when not passing. People get tickets for it. Ontario should enact a similar law.
- TheMussel

yes that's what we need. another avenue for the government to rob us of $100.

Ok...read the article.

The Leafs get killed in affordability and Bang for there buck.

So....if they reduced ticket prices that would make them a better franchise?

not fact...but the point is the overwhelming majority see the team as a massive problem. You can articulate over and over why they aren't, but no finals appearance since 67...1 playoff appearance in 11 years...the most expensive tickets, etc etc etc is tough to argue.

someone asked how i can hate the current state of affairs and still be a fan...i said you don't have to be a sheep to be a fan. I guess you took that the wrong way. you can criticize the team you love..earth shattering i know
