Ppl who never played the game (at a high level; ie junior, college, pro etc. don't get this). I love when ppl said 'i played for 20 years'...sorry but house league red and Junior A are worlds apart. Oh well....

On September 11th, my wife had flown to Rochester for a morning meeting.

Then, of course, all air traffic was halted.

At about 7 pm, I crossed the border into the US to retrieve her. 2 National Guardsmen with machine guns watched me as I got out of my car and stood by while they searched it.

In their defence, though, they were 100% professional the entire time. No complaints from Wedgie.

My experiences seem to be 50/50 with border guards. Half the time they are polite, the other half of the time they are trying to be the troll from the Holy Grail who tries to trick you into saying something incriminating.

I had one guy who asked me about alcohol in the car. I told him we had about half a 26er left-over in the trunk. He made me go get it to show him because I didn't know the exact amount leftover in milliliters. I would understand if he was using it as an excuse to search the car for more, but nope, just wanted to see the ONE bottle that was crossing with four people.

Me and Mrs. Wedgie used to live there - a couple of blocks from Copley Square.

We still love Boston to death - try to get back at least once a year.

I have seen Friedman say a few times now that him and Quinn had a personal beef for a while but they never let play out in the public eye.

The Kessel thing goes back a while and it wasn't just about that one question. He was speaking up for the team and and telling that reporter he was disrespectful to its players.

I took it from Buff to Mass once. Was a great moving highway with competent and conscientious drivers... but the toll booths drove me batpoop crazy - at one point there's like 8 open booths all funnelling into 2 lanes on the other side. I'm totally fine with paying a few bucks to drive the roads my tax money doesn't contribute to... but wasting a half hour of my time because they're poorly thought out/designed. I'd love to send Feschuk to ask the transit authority a few questions.

Have we traded Kessel for Hanzal and Domi yet?

because i want it to be fixed. IMO if you are a sheep it solves nothing...if you truly care you can see problems and how they need to be rectified.

I looked it up at one point. It's convoluted, in a way where passing on the left is mandatory, but driving on the right when not passing isn't, or something along those lines. No law against driving in the left.

I think it's something to do more with holding up traffic in the left that they will pull you over for. I've been pulled over for speeding and the cop said they were blitzing for speeding and people blocking the left lane.
