That's going to pale in comparison to the new-found sense of purpose the team will have after Feschuk-gate.

I do wonder if they have to say that to the public though. Like some guys MUST think Feschuk is a dink and think Kessel was right so I wonder if they HAVE to to make a "united front".

I think Kessel was fine with what he said. Especially the comments after. As I said earlier, the media somehow think they are untouchable and can say whatever they want about the athletes. Yet without them they'd have no living.

Again..this team is the biggest joke in major sports...i think they deserve some crap. I find that there are a few posters on here who defend everything about this team. You seem to be one. Kessel is not a problem etc....all i've heard is lupul and bozak need to go. However it cant be denied that no matter how many excuses you provide...or how the media makes stuff up...or how fans throwing jerseys are the dumb fans, i ask you what has gone wrong for the past 10 years? And how do we fix it? Im just curious since we seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum and have been all along. You totally disagreed with me when i said NYI had a better roster and was more of a lock to make the playoffs. Totally disagreed when i said we were no better than last year...im just curious to what you feel has been the problem forever with this team. Both were wrong - Feschuk knew he was antagonizing and Kessel should have known he was antagonizing and not fed the troll. A couple months as a HBuzz poster would give Kessel a crash course in how to handle trolls.

I intimated last night that I thought Feschuck was a loser. Here he makes this comment, Kessel blasts him then he goes right on air to defend himself and in the process looks like a whiner resorting to the old "my sources say" nonsense.

Kessel handled it beautifully. If I were him I would have done the same.
