That was awesome.

I imagine that 2017 Winter Classic ends up in Toronto, being the 100th anniversary of the franchise and the 50th anniversary of their last Cup. Some irony there, looking at those numbers.

This is a real possibility - unfortunatley for the city of Ottawa.

2017 will be a year of celabrations here, given it is the country's 150th birthday.

Our mayor and the Senators are pushing hard to have an outdoor game in the newly renovated football stadium, but the stars are also aligning in TO....

of course the league could do a Winter Classic on New Years Day in TO and a Hockey Day in Canada game in Ottawa.....

Canada may "deserve" it, being a mega hockey market, but the point of it is to drum up US fans, so while Canadian teams may be involved...I agree and think the game is always going to be here.

I had next to zero interest in this one and I've generally been pretty excited for all the others. It sounds dumb but not having the 24/7 on HBO really kills it the hype a lot. I don't feel like staring at my laptop to watch it on "EPIX", I lasted one episode of doing that. Not to mention if I missed an episode I can't watch it on demand unless I subscribe to EPIX.

I did the Stadium Series in NY. It was awesome to see but I'd never do it again.

The extra money was worth it to see all of Yankee Stadium booing CeeLo Green to the point where he flipped the double bird mid-song, though.
