There have been tweets about this Canadian team is different from Canadian teams in that they are willing to engage in the trash talk, chippy play and aren't backing down.

It's nice to see after 4 years of coaches that drove discipline into the players heads that they seemed robotic. Watching Domi beak at the American bench was entertaining.

He was really leaning on that. Low glove side there.

I like that Rust isn't forcing the puck to Sid or Geno...Buuuttt, at some point he should pass it to them lol.

I was just talking to a bud about this. He carries very well. Zone entries are quite good. Reminds me of Sullivan in that regard. But like you said, at some point those options need to be used. I'll bet he's going to hear that on the bench.

Was more concerned about how bad the D coverage was. Seemed like Sutter left his man and the D backed all the way to the posts.

I need another replay on it. Looked harmless until Staal had the puck and nobody was even close to him.

Kooooonitzz. Trade him now! Oh that Beau Bennett tease...what a pass.

Bennett brought his vision to the rink. Excellent pass. Kunitz needed that.

I really think almost ALL trade talk regarding our own players (Except for Spaling and Scuderi) needs to stop until we get 10 games with our entire lineup, or all but 1 (excluding Duper), in a row again. Its just very obvious the team has lost synergy and such, its random, sporadic, and pretty much anything but consistent right now and far from worthy of making real decisions from.

All I have learned the last month is that most of our AHL players were better than I assumed, Rust and Dumoulin specifically, and that even with bolstering our depth, the hockey Gods decide to brutally violate us with injuries up the rectum.... sans lube.

Odds on him making it out of this game without injury?

Oh come on... he usually goes a few games before another injury...

Over Under is at 5 games without an injury. Betting is now open.

Man, I hope he breaks Adams iron man streak. Kid has been cursed.

Sid and Geno starting to click. Great shift right there.

If he could manage to stay healthy for the rest of this season that would be such a huge addition for this team. Kind of like making a trade for a top 6 without giving anything up. Sucks not to be able to count on it.

At some point you think they would realize the Canes stand up at the blue line every entry. 2 PP's no shots

I really don't get WHY that works so well against us for an entire powerplay... Its not exactly the hardest thing to get around.

EDIT: This powerplay (our 3rd one) looking a lot better finally.

How many PP's has Farnham drawn since he's been up? Amazing for such a marginal player.

Haha, was thinking the same. 3rd in 2 games for sure. Klinkhammer seems to draw them as well. (No clue why he is getting scratched). HCMJ giving Klink the Blysma to Despres treatment.
