I'm pretty sure both Linden and Benning would not have accepted their roles without absolute autonomy. We haven't heard a peep out of the Aquilinis since the dust has settled from last years debacle.

Players are happier and were slightly more successful but still lack talent.

They definitely need to accept the fact ayers like Higgins Burrows and Bieksa need to go.

Hopefully it stays that way . If we hit a big losing streak and building half full. I have little faith in Aqullini minding his own business

Most definately. Just still standing behind MacT for the time being. I like a lot of what he has done, made a couple of mistakes. Ibthink when the right deal comes around he'll make a trade , I'm glad he hasn't made any bad deals yet. I would characterize his work as largely incomplete more than anything.

This TDL will either make me pretty happy or really piss me off.

I kinda think the Oilers should make a short term deal with them. just think we could use a top 6 veteran and and aging Zdeno Chara more than they could. NMC's and what not make trades near impossible with Edmonton but I see the benefits for both clubs.
Any 1 of krecji, Bergeron, Lucic, or Marchand could have a sizeable impact on the Oilers.

Culture-wise, yes. I simply think its a blip in the radar. I think were a good team, not a great team.
