I kinda think the Oilers should make a short term deal with them. just think we could use a top 6 veteran and and aging Zdeno Chara more than they could. NMC's and what not make trades near impossible with Edmonton but I see the benefits for both clubs.
Any 1 of krecji, Bergeron, Lucic, or Marchand could have a sizeable impact on the Oilers.

Not many teams trade their leading scorer who's never played for another franchise and he's 2nd all time in history for points. They've attached themselves to these two players for the long haul like it or not. Near impossible to move them, much like Thornton and Marleau, NMC.

I'm not opposed to moving them, could bring a great group of young players here, I just don't see it happening.

Eberle and Hall yea. Chara probably not but none of these players A. have a twin brother they've played with their whole lives and B. has a full NMC

They would not net much. Salary cap won't work for a package deal and they are on the back 9 so to speak. We might get slightly more than we did for Kes but considering how losing our two best forwards will affect the team I say its a poopty tradeoff
