Finally, we find something a GM did that was dumber than the Clarkson contract!!!

but close - VANTEL
Not close in my book. Clarkson only cost us cash, Edmonton could have gotten a top winger in the league and a pick for a guy who rapidly turned into a scrub... |

Here is a wild idea.`Flyers have about 1.4 Mil in cap space. I am not sure how that would work but something like this.
1) Bieksa for Sanhiem and Canucks and Canucks keep 3.2 mil of KB salary this year and 2.5 next year and get a good top 10 6'3 RHD prospect
2) Pronger Sanheim for Bieksa . Canucks keep 3.2 of KB salary this year none next year
never mind #2 I just remembered cou cant trade an injured player - VANTEL
I think you're misjudging Philly's position as a franchise. They're trying to get younger and rebuild that d-core under Hextall. There's no way that do that, even if they covet Bieksa. |

For sure, but Perry wasn't as highly thought of back then as a prospect. Comrie was also looking like a really solid young top 6 center.
Gomez trade was worse than both IMO, everyone could see that he was declining and the Rangers overpaid him big time as a UFA. Montreal not only bailed them out of that contract, but gave up a promising young prospect(McDonagh). |

What about Vinny and Sanheim - VANTEL
Still highly doubt Sanheim is available. That'd be similar to the Canucks trading Horvat or Virtanen right now, unless the deal is too good to pass up it's not gonna happen. |

What about Vinny and Sanheim - VANTEL
Can't believe they signed Vinny until 2017-2018
Isn't this only his second season there and they already want to turf him? |

I agree. It would be like trading Johansen for Shinkaruk and a first. Maybe Shink is the next Patrick Kane. Probably not. |

Don't be so grumpy. Pronger was the fail.
I already stated I think Bieksa stays this season.

I am not being grumpy I asked a question only. Pronger is LTIR so it wouldnt have hurt our cap, but then I realized you cant move injured players so I said foget it. |
