It was obvious by Halloween 2013 that Eakins was a terrible choice for this team. Why would you amass and surround a bunch of finesse offensive players like Yakupov, Nuge, Schultz, Eberle, Perron, etc. around Hall and then get a coach who clearly wants a team full of lunchpailers?

A real coach coaches to the strengths of the players he has.
