I'm really surprised nobody has blamed this on Yakupov. I mean had we drafted Murray this season, we'd definitely be in first place. Or even Galchenyuk or Forsberg. Yep first place.

I'm not jumping on the Hall hate because I can't blame the guy for being angry at this situation but how many of you would entertain a trade that revolved around Hall and Oliver Ekman Larsson, considering Maloney is also looking to make a big splash.

Gets third line minutes and third line linemates, so he doesn't perform as well. Doesn't perform well, so he gets third line minutes/linemates. Guarantee if we trade him, he will be a quality player in the right environment. Think Kyle Turris' situation.

You're right, he hasn't performed to the point where we all expected. Our expectations were too high. His most common linemates - Arcobello, Draisaitl, and Schultz. How many will succeed with that?

There is no core... the core is young damaged goods now- bad habits, egocentric attitudes and under development have taken over- individually they all believe they are stars - then you combine the stench of years of loserville and it spells need for some significant change... all you claiming there is a need for MacT to assess the players- WTF has he been doing for the last 2 years?? what has the remaining management scouting and coaching been doing the last 8 years??? If they dont know who to keep and who not to keep with the core they kept together for what 3-4 yrs now- then they all are incompetent and need to be fired ASAP...

Upon further research, Yak is averaging 5 points per season more than Lindholm thus far over his career....

Though he's almost double Yakupov's point pace this year.

Saw Kreuger while watching the EPL and was so confused... he's essentially the president of Southampton FC from what I could tell? The club is actually one of the smaller/not rich clubs yet has done so well in recent years with young players bringing them through the system and then inevitably selling them off to the rich clubs. Last summer when they sold all their big players to Liverpool everyone thought they would be rubbish and instead they started off so well and Liverpool are rubbish
