Made no sense on writing that sentence in his piece. Regardless of anything this season, the smartest thing for the Oilers would be trade pieces in off-season or draft where more suitors will be in play & draft picks too. The only evaluation now should be who's the next proper GM to fix the sinking ship......

They need more patience and to build through the draft.
