Stick to the plan and actually acquire the filler pieces as you go (the Pouliots, Faynes, what should have been Ribeiros/Roys) until the lineup is competitive. Klefbom's looking like that future (not too distant) top pair guy we've been waiting for, Nurse on the wings, a season under Draisaitl's belt, a new coaching regime, and a little bit of lady luck. Sucks where EDM is, but talking about trading Hall is just going to bring about trolls who think the 25th overall pick and a 2nd liner will get it done.

Don't force a trade and certainly don't trade a premier forward for 3 minor pieces

One caveat. At least someone who has the possibility of growing into a competent 1 goalie . At present we've got two guys that can play great and then follow it up with a sieve performance. And I don't think thats changing from either of em. We need the chance at stability back there. The enroths or even the neuvirths etc.
Even Paying above past market value, Ala a 2nd and a gernat/khaira would still be a solid risk imo.
it sucks dubnyk didn't work out, but the direction they were going with him was still the prudent move imo. Try it again.

A great skater, can carry the puck, and an extremely solid player. He does alot of things well.

I agree but he still has at least 2 major (frank) ups in a game... my guess is Marincin gets recalled in a game or 2...

Sometimes he has been the best skater out there, more often than not its when the games out of reach but you start to notice him more. If hes in your top 4, thats not a bad thing at all.
